If you are in Edinburgh at the end of August, do go along to see 'Lunacy', a short drama devised by 3 Aldenham Sixth Formers for their A Levels this year.
The play will be performed at 2.00pm on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th August 2017, in the Olive Studio, Greenside@Infirmary Street, Venue 236.
The bar will be ours after the show on Saturday 26th between 3.00-4.00pm to celebrate with the cast, their teachers, families and friends of the School.
Lunacy is a fast paced, highly physical piece, inspired by the Rosenhan experiment, which was carried out to determine the validity of psychiatric diagnosis - fascinating!
This reunion has been arranged by Alex Titcombe. A small group of contemporaries will gather back at Aldenham for Lunch and to reminisce. There will be an opportunity for guests to enjoy part of the traditional Aldenham House Music competition in the afternoon.
This popular event will once again be held at Aldenham and for the first time on a Saturday evening. It is hoped that this will be more convenient for everyone.
There will be a drinks reception with entertainment in the Apthorp Room of The Wells Centre from 6.15pm. Dinner will be served in the Dining Hall from 7.30pm.
James Fowler, Headmaster, will be the principle guest speaker after dinner.
Husbands, wives and partners are welcome.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
A reunion for the Class of 2017 and their parents, providing an opportunity to catch up after the first term away from Aldenham, to share experiences and receive A Level Certificates. A formal presentation of certificates will be followed by drinks and light snacks.
Time: 7.00pm - 9.00pm
