Regional Lunch - London

OAs gathered in London on Monday 20th May 2013 for a Regional Lunch on the Restaurant Ship Hispaniola. The Upper Deck of the ship, which is permanently moored on Victoria Embankment, provided private dining for the group, which numbered 37 in total. The Headmaster welcomed guests with pre-lunch drinks and a delightful three course lunch was enjoyed with much chatter between mouthfuls. The floating restaurant, which came recommended by several OAs who had eaten there and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, offered a fabulous view of the River Thames, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. The event certainly proved a winner with those present with several raising their glasses to the next gathering! The Headmaster took the opportunity to give an update on current activities at Aldenham and to express his gratitude for the continued support and guidance that is often so readily provided by many OAs to the School and its students.
