Manish returned to the school to give a talk to Year 10 students about AI in the workplace. Manish is a former investor turned entrepreneur with over 12 years’ experience across the UK, Singapore, and Switzerland, having worked with leading institutions including Credit Suisse, RBS Coutts, and Grant Thornton. In 2023, he launched Yareta — a science-led AI platform — designed to help people understand their strengths and unlock exceptional potential.During the session, Manish shared his career journey and demonstrated how AI is already being used in real-world settings. Students learned how employers are changing the way they identify talent, which skills matter most for future jobs (beyond grades), and how understanding personal strengths can set them apart. Ahead of the talk, students completed a psychometric assessment, allowing Manish to discuss their collective results on the day.Manish also encouraged students to build leadership skills, take opportunities, learn from failure, and embrace challenges. While AI may automate simpler tasks, he highlighted how it can be a powerful positive across all careers — especially when combined with strong teamwork, self-awareness, and technical foundations.
